Multi-factor authentication is included on every WestFax account. Enterprise teams can turn on SAML 2.0 single sign-on, and — with the Cloud Fax Toolkit — sync users and fax-line permissions straight from Active Directory.

Fax Console, questions answered
The Fax Console is WestFax’s secure web portal — the place you sign in from a desktop browser to send and receive faxes, manage your account, and see your complete fax history. It’s the source of truth for every WestFax account.
Yes. The Console is included with every WestFax account, no matter how you fax — API-only, through an EHR, a multifunction printer, the Cloud Fax Toolkit, or another WestFax platform. Every fax still appears in the Console.
Yes. Two-factor authentication is included on every account, and faxes are protected with end-to-end encryption, role-based access, and full audit trails. Enterprise teams can add SAML 2.0 single sign-on and sync users from Active Directory through the Cloud Fax Toolkit.
Admins assign one of four roles — regular user, send-only user, super user, or admin — and can restrict access at the fax-line level. That means you can limit who sees which fax lines and what each person is allowed to do.
Solo plans include a single fax line. Team and Enterprise plans can add more from Settings — port an existing number or get a new one for a one-time $20 fee, plus $4.95 per month for each additional line.

Faxes are retained for two months by default. You can upgrade retention to 1, 2, or 7 years in the portal, and reach out to sales for custom retention beyond that.
Yes. The cover page editor lets you add your logo, company details, a HIPAA disclaimer, and the fields you want — and values fill in automatically when you send. Enterprise teams can commission a fully custom cover page layout for an additional fee.
