Over the past few months, we’ve made a significant improvement to how you manage your WestFax account: the Admin Portal has now been fully integrated into the Home Portal.

If you’ve ever found yourself bouncing between two dashboards to manage users, configure fax lines, or access enterprise tools like SSO, those days are officially over. Now, everything is accessible from a single, streamlined interface—no toggling required.

Here’s a quick walkthrough of what’s available:


🧾 Billing

The Billing section continues to offer your standard tools for managing invoices, usage, and payment details. Within Plan Usage, you’ll now also find options to upgrade your plan or adjust your fax storage retention policy.

Retention upgrades can be especially helpful for organizations with compliance requirements—options range from the standard 2-month policy (included) to extended storage up to 7 years.


⚙️ Fax Configuration

Alongside familiar tools like the Cover Page Editor and Fax-To-Email Settings, you can now manage your fax lines in the same place. This includes adding/removing lines and reviewing key details.

For IT teams and developers, each line’s productId is now visible within the interface—no support ticket needed for API or provisioning tasks.


👥 Manage Users

User management is now split into two clear views:

  • By User – Quickly grant or adjust access by individual.
  • By Fax Line – See and edit who has access to specific numbers.

This makes it easier to onboard new staff or reassign resources without digging through multiple tools.


🔐 Configure SSO (Single Sign-On)

SSO setup begins in the portal, where you can enter key values for your identity provider. Once your information is entered, our support team will work with you directly to complete and validate the connection securely.


🆘 Help and Support – Port or Add Fax Numbers

As shared in our previous article, admins can now initiate number porting and request new fax lines directly through the portal. No extra steps or phone calls needed unless you want them.
